Proven Leadership and Results
Jason served three terms as both County Commissioner and County Auditor in Lawrence County before being appointed as State Representative in 2019. In 2023 he was elected by his colleagues in the Ohio House of Representatives to serve as the Speaker of the House where he passed record tax cuts, protected our second amendment rights, and safeguarded against men competing in our girls’ sports.
Standing for Conservative Values
A lifelong Conservative Republican, Jason serves as the Lawrence County GOP Chairman and has been a member of his Republican County Central Committee for over 25 years. He has been fighting his whole career to elect conservatives locally and around Ohio.
Putting Southern Ohio First
Southern Ohio needs a strong leader to fight back against the Columbus swamp. Under the leadership of Representative Stephens, Gallia, Jackson, and Lawrence Counties have all received millions of dollars for critical capital and infrastructure projects to keep our communities safe, our buildings up to date, and our future bright.
